On Monday August 21st (the day of the eclipse) our warehouse will be closed. UPS and other couriers will not be in service that day due to the extremely high volume of traffic anticipated for the eclipse.
The path of totality is just a few miles north of our warehouse. The eclipse will start at 9:06 AM, with the maximum eclipse at 10:20AM, and ending at 11:41 AM. This event is a once in a lifetime opportunity to capture some amazing photos and videos.
The population of our home-town of Bend Oregon is right around 90,000 people - city & county officials are anticipating a influx of 450,000-550,000 people to start arriving in our area beginning August 16th. Central Oregon's infrastructure is not scaled to handle this many people or traffic and local officials are predicting traffic jams to last up to 8-10 hours in certain sections of our main highways.
What You Need To Know
- Our warehouse and office will be closed Monday August 21st.
- Orders placed August 21st will not ship out until August 22nd - orders may encounter shipping delays due to outgoing traffic after the event.
- The eclipse WILL affect order processing & shipping time.
- The rush of people coming to our area will start August 16th. Orders set to ship out the 16th, 17th or 18th may encounter unexpected transit delays from our carriers due to traffic jams, accidents or wildfires.

For those planning on visiting our area for this event we highly encourage you to be safe and be prepared. For this event you should prepare as if you are going to be trapped in a snowstorm.
