I superglued a stack of nickels together and taped it to my gimbal arm to see if a counterweight would work. When I saw it would, I found the EVOGimbals counterweight. It's design is perfect and it works perfectly to balance my Pixel 7 Pro.

They are good counterweights,but not what i ordered
This fits the hero 8 and you get 2 straps, plus counter weights. The issue is the clamp for the counter weights. Did a work around. The bonus is the clamp I used balances the go pro, no counter weight used! So, on to the next phase of learning the gimbal modes. Oh, I also got the wired remote. So trial and error time

I have a Zhiyun Crane that came with one set of batteries. I haven't used it in a while so I'm thinking they may not hold out for long. I bought 2 packs and they were shipped promptly. BTW, less expensive ordering direct than through Amazon!
Im using the Filmic Pro app with an Evo Shift gimbal on an iPhone 11 and the combination is perfect. No app to run the gimbal, it works like a normal gimbal and provides perfect gliding motion to the footage.
